NARS is a privately owned, rapidly growing third party claims administrator. Although we have offices nationwide, NARS maintains a close-knit family feel.
It’s preferable for adjusters to have a FL license, as well as GA, AL, LA, SC, AR, NY and ability to secure other licenses as needed.
Candidate will be handling Commercial Auto property damage and bodily injury claims in multiple jurisdictions. Must be able to handle a case load up to 150 claims that encompass all levels of complexity. Claims will be a mixture of mature claims needing immediate attention and new losses. Role will require the establishing of facts of loss, coverage analysis, investigation, compensability/liability/negligence determination, coordination of medical care, understanding of CMS and the Medicare system and all liens, litigation management, damage assessment, settlement negotiations, identifying potential fraud and appropriate use of authorized vendors. Also includes timely and appropriate reserve analysis and report completion. All file handing must be within state statutes, Client Claims Handling Guidelines and NARS Best Practices.
In order to satisfy the needs of the pending accounts, candidates should be versed in personal and commercial auto policy claims handling and coverage analysis. Trucking knowledge is a plus. They should be able to handle primarily 1st and 3rd party CN/PD claims, but also be able to recognize and be able to handle BI/UM/UIM claims, and be versed in Total Loss and car rental management systems.
Litigation experience is a plus.
Qualification Requirements: Education / Licensing:
- High School Diploma, college degree preferred.
- Must have litigation experience.
- Must be eligible for reserve/payment authority level of $50,000+ when appropriate.
- Must possess, Florida Adjuster’s license or other required jurisdictional licensing.
