Description

Job Description: Provide support to the claims staff by performing assigned tasks and duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Update Litigation Module in Claims Cube (C3) with litigation information
  • Request missing litigation information from attorneys to complete module
  • Review and update C3 data as directed
  • Performs other assigned tasks or duties as required or directed
  • Ability to follow through on assigned tasks with accuracy
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software. (Microsoft Office platform.)

Qualification Requirements:

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent required, 2 year degree or higher preferred.

  • Bi-lingual abilities (Spanish) a plus
  • 2+ years of customer service experience preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Ability to follow through on assigned tasks with accuracy
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software. (Microsoft Office platform.)

Knowledge:

  • Position requires poise, tact and diplomacy at all times.
  • Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely with customers, claimants and other involved parties.

Abilities:

  • Requires long periods of sitting
  • Requires working indoors in environmentally controlled conditions
  • Requires lifting of files and boxes up to approximately 20 pounds
  • Repeated use of keyboard, mouse and exposure to computer screen
