The Helpdesk Administrator assists the company with daily system functions. Provide software, phone, and network support, training, and troubleshooting. Provides support on a wide range of applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of advanced principles or systems analysis and design
- Assist both internal and external customers on open issues, follow to completion
- Work helpdesk tickets effectively and timely till completion
- Add, remove, or update user account information, reset passwords, etc.
- Effectively meeting deadlines, properly utilizing resources, following processes
- Responsible for basic phone support, adding new users, troubleshooting issues with vendors.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification Requirements:
Education / Licensing:
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems or equivalent experience.
Technical Skills:
- Ability to correctly install and maintain computer hardware and software
- Ability to support/troubleshoot remote users over the phone
- Ability to detect, analyze and resolve computer software and network problems
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other technical staff, vendors, and users
- Ability to follow verbal and/ or written instructions
- Ability to identify and monitor potential operational malfunctions
- Ability to solve hardware and software problems in logical manner
- Knowledge of hardware and software installation, testing, and operations
- Knowledge of networking concepts and fundamentals
- Knowledge of advanced principles of systems analysis and design
- Knowledge of telecommunications fundamentals
