Helpdesk Support Needed for Premier Third-Party Claims Administrator

Job Description:

Assist the company with daily system functions.  Shipping, receiving, and tracking assets.  Provide software, phone, and network support, training, and troubleshooting.  Provide support on a wide range of applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of basic principles or systems analysis and design
  • Assist both internal and external customers on open issues, follow to completion
  • Work helpdesk tickets effectively and timely till completion
  • Add, remove, or update user account information, reset passwords, etc.
  • Effectively meeting deadlines, properly utilizing resources, following processes
  • Responsible for basic phone support, adding new users, troubleshooting issues with vendors.
  • Preform other duties as assigned
  • Shipping / Receiving computer equipment asset tracking

Work Environment Requirements:

  • This role requires extended periods of computer screen usage for tasks such as data entry, research, and virtual meetings.
  • The ability to maintain focus and productivity while working for long hours in front of a screen is essential.

Qualification Requirements:

Education / Licensing:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems or equivalent experience

Technical Skills:

  • Ability to correctly install and maintain computer hardware and software
  • Ability to support/troubleshoot remote users over the phone
  • Ability to detect, analyze and resolve computer software and network problems
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other technical staff, vendors, and users
  • Ability to follow verbal and/ or written instructions
  • Ability to communicate with Management and escalate issues
  • Ability to identify and monitor potential operational malfunctions
  • Ability to solve hardware and software problems in logical manner
  • Knowledge of hardware and software installation, testing, and operations
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and fundamentals
  • Knowledge of basic principles of systems analysis and design
  • Knowledge of telecommunications fundamentals
